Community Outreach Trailer
The Community Outreach Trailer is now available for checkout by all church groups within the Pilot Mountain Baptist Association. This Outreach Trailer can only be used by a group within a PMBA Congregation. It is not for individual use or business use!
PMBA Congregations, let us give thanks for the many congregations and individuals who have given to the Local Missions and Ministries Offering. Funds from this special offering were used to purchase and equip the Community Outreach Trailer. To reserve the Community Outreach Trailer, contact the PMBA office and be sure the date is available. Place your church's name on the reservation list for the date you need. A packet of information (including an application) will be mailed to you, OR you can download all the forms on line and mail them in with your $50 non refundable usage fee, plus $150 refundable deposit (given back once the trailer is properly checked back in with no damage. To use the trailer, the application and fees must be in to the PMBA Resource Center two weeks prior to your event. Failure to get your application in on time might mean that you loose the dates of your choice.
Should the Community Outreach Trailer not be booked on a given week, you can book on short notice; however, the date will not be confirmed until the application and $50 usage fee an be used by any PMBA congregation that is hosting an outreach event. It cannot be reserved for individual use or used by a business. You must adhere to the date and time you reserved the COT (i.e., to reserve for Saturday, you must pick up by 10 AM on Friday. The PMBA office closes at Noon on Fridays, so please keep this in mind.)
There is an Evaluation Form that must be completed and returned when properly checking the COT back in. Failure to return the trailer on the designated date can result in a penalty fee based on the time it was returned.
Already, we have over 20 reservations to use the Community Outreach Trailer this summer. If your church is interested in booking the COT, please contact Karen Taylor, Community Missionary (414-0812) or download the forms. Mail them in as soon as possible to guarantee your date of choice.
