Volunteers Needed
The need for chainsaw and clean up crews are at the top of the list.
We will be working this storm several months.
Our area will either go to Sanford or Raleigh at this time.
Dear Friends,
Once again our brother and sisters in the Eastern part of North Carolina need our help. Region 5, which includes PMBA, has been asked to send chainsaw crews and clean up crews to Sanford and parts of Raleigh.
PMBA Disaster Relief and Recovery Coordinator, Bill Martin, asked that all who might be able to help with recovery from the numerous tornadoes and high winds that hit our State just a few days ago to contact him ASAP.
Please share this information with all Disaster Recovery workers in your congregations. You must have certification in NCBM Disaster Relief Training. If your badge is not current, you will need to re-certify before you can help with chain saw and cleanup.
We will be working in Sanford and Raleigh for some time, so there is still time for you to get your Disaster Relief Training! May 20-21, there will be Disaster Relief Training in Caldwell County. June 3-4, training will take place in Henderson County. Please go to
for more details.
